NAPTA Troubleshooting Skills Competition III
Competition rounds of the 2019 NAPTA Troubleshooting Skills Competition are conducted at River Parishes Community College in Gonzales, Louisiana. Teams of advanced Process Technology students from colleges across the nation are competing to be the National champions! The simulation software is provided by Simtronics Corporation and is used to demonstrate their knowledge and skills as team players when troubleshooting a process upset. Student competitors are interviewed who give their perspective on the competition action. Industry sponsors and the exercise facilitator, David Hirsch comment on the students’ work and the opportunities the competition provides for them in regard to career placement.
